Maximum number of participants will be accommodated in guest houses/hotels in shared rooms. Owing to shortage of accommodation, outstation participants are advised to send an advance amount of Rs. 500/-towards partial booking of accommodation. Please intimate your entitlement for accommodation allowance.
Financial Assistance to Students
Financial assistance towards local hospitality and travel by train (Sleeper class) by the shortest route can be provided to a limited number of deserving students who are unable to obtain any financial support from their parent institutions. Application for assistance must be accompanied by a letter of recommendation from research guide.

Registration fee along with Rs. 500/-as an advance amount for the booking of accommodation should be sent as a single Demand Draft in favour of National Laser Symposium - 09 payable at Mumbai. The DO, the completed registration form, and two recent passport size photographs with names written on the reverse side, must reach the Secretary, NLS-09, on or before November 09, 2009. Alternatively, the amount may be transferred to the Symposium account -
"National Laser Symposium-09" (SBI, BARC Branch, Savings A/C 30853244670, Branch ISF Code: SBIN0001268) and the registration form and two photographs sent to the Secretary (NLS-09). The participants are also required to carry photo identification card or passport to facilitate their entry to BARC.
