The ninth DAE-BRNS National Laser Symposium sponsored by the Board of Research in Nuclear Sciences, Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, in collaboration with Indian Laser Association, will be held at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai, India, during January 13 to 16, 2010.
The symposium will provide a platform for young researchers in laser physics and technology to interact with eminent scientists from India and abroad, and to present their work.
The symposium will cover frontline research in basic laser physics, as well as significant advances in development and application of lasers in several disciplines of science & technology.
The symposium will include invited talks and poster presentations of contributed papers, and PhD thesis presentations in the related research areas.

A Book of Abstracts containing abstracts of (a) invited talks, (b) peer reviewed contributed papers for poster-presentation at the conference, and, (c) thesis summary, will be made available to the participants during the symposium. Contributed papers accepted for poster-presentation at the conference and manuscripts of invited talks will be reviewed for publication in a refereed journal.
